Careers at Linje

Is Linje for you?

We hire founders and people who think like founders. Builders who would rather start something than describe it, who like the messy middle of a problem and who get a kick out of seeing an idea turn into something real. Between strategy and the shop floor. Between the spreadsheet and the people who have to make it work.

Linje is for you who gets things done. You take initiative, roll up your sleeves and follow through. You know the difference between delivering what was asked and delivering what was needed, and you aim for the second.

Linje is for you who thinks like an owner. You treat a client's business as if it were your own. You are curious, you ask whether there is a better way, and you would rather test an idea this week than discuss it for a month.

Linje is for you who likes people. Things get built by teams. You listen well, you make others better, you are not too proud to do the unglamorous work, and what people see is what they get.

What you can expect

At Linje you work close to the client and close to the action. You don't just analyse a problem and pass it on. You help solve it, build the solution and see it working.

We run Linje like a start-up: flat structures, quick decisions, trust instead of control and room to shape the company itself. You are expected to think for yourself, say what you see, and ask for help when you need it.

01

Varied work

Strategy, organisation, operations, change and new business, often in the same week.

02

Real responsibility

You own your part of the work from day one, and you get to build things, not just recommend them.

03

Help build the firm

A say in how Linje grows: which services we build, how we work and who joins us.

Open applications

There are no advertised positions right now. We still want to hear from good people, and we welcome open applications from those who recognise themselves in one of these descriptions.

Experienced advisers

You have built or led something: a team, a product, a business or a turnaround. Now you want to do it again, in many places.

  • Experience from start-ups, leadership, consulting or a specialist role
  • Comfortable with leadership teams and on the shop floor
  • Gets things done, and explains them clearly

Analysts and graduates

You like to get to the bottom of things, and you want to learn how businesses are really built and run, from the inside.

  • Strong with numbers and structure
  • Curious, practical and quick to act
  • A relevant degree, or about to finish one

Specialists

You have deep skills in a field businesses need when they build and change, and you want to use them across many companies.

  • Depth in a specific discipline or sector
  • Able to explain it to non-specialists
  • Open to project-based collaboration

Linje's culture deck

We run Linje the way we help clients run theirs: like a company that is being built, by people who take ownership. We have written down what that means in practice.

A simple, respectful process

Short, honest and quick. We answer every application, and we keep you informed at each step.

  1. Application

A short note about yourself and what you are looking for. A CV or LinkedIn profile is enough.

  2. Conversation

An informal talk to get to know each other and see whether there is a good match.

  3. Case

A short, realistic problem we work on together. It is about how you think and act, not about a perfect answer.

  4. Decision

A clear answer and, if it is a yes, the details agreed together.

Tell us about yourself

A few lines are enough to start. Tell us who you are, what you are good at, and what kind of work you are looking for.

CV, cover letter or portfolio. PDF, Word or image, up to 5 files and 10 MB in total.
